Inger completes her prestigious award with a solo exhibition. Over the last year she gathered individual stories and experiences from the community while experimenting with natural fabrics and dyes, collecting local plants and foods for color. The result will be the transformation of a gallery into a world made of paint, paper, cloth, and a myriad of other things found and given another life through the stories she has gathered. Of her experience Inger writes: “Only now, I see worlds around me which belong to other people, made of their colors, desires, fears, dreams; I walk though them, trying not to disturb their delicate balance.” Allen W.
