Ana M. Lopez’s metalwork and drawings explore the relationship between the physicality of the artmaking process and the corporeality of the maker. If our physical selves influence the objects we produce, what sort of articles does an altered body create? A body that takes prescription drugs, wears glasses and interacts with others through machines?
