The Indianapolis Art Center Photography Club (Photo Club) is a free monthly meet-up of Indianapolis Art Center instructors, students and members who want to broaden their photographic skills and experience.
The goal of the Photo Club is to inspire, enrich and educate Art Center students in the area/interest of photography. Meetings will be structured to allow club members to meet with similarly interested people for portfolio feedback, technical discussions, occasional contests and networking within the local photo community. Photo Club members will also get to know photography instructors, become familiar with equipment and have occasional opportunities to utilize their expertise and Art Center resources when appropriate.
About the Photo Club
Photography and Digital Arts Studio Chair, Dan Fifer, will lead the club. Instructors and student volunteers will assist in organizing and executing activities. Each meeting will be approximately 1.5 hours long and contain lecture/discussion, photography/portfolio examination, and Q&A/education components. Occasionally, there will be additional meetings or ‘meet-ups’ where club members will go on-site to photograph together.
