Summer Youth Art Camps
Keep your kids creative all summer long! Fine Arts Day Camp registration begins February 13.
Children will bring the worlds of their imagination to life in this summer’s Art + Imagination themed camps. Projects will encourage your child to express their most creative side & have fun doing it! It will be a summer full of inspiration, exploration, & art education at the Indianapolis Art Center!
The Art Center believes creative expression is an integral part of intellectual growth. Our youth & teen programs encourage curiosity, problem solving, independence and self-esteem. Along with the art making process, Fine Arts Day Camp is also designed to include an art history component and an exploration of art from different cultures.
Length of Sessions/Start Date
Each camp session is five days–Monday through Friday beginning June 11. The last camp will conclude August 3. There are more than 50 sessions from which to choose.

Half-day Sessions: 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 1:30-5:30 p.m.
Full-day Sessions: 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.Campers registered for both a morning and afternoon session in any camp within the same week will have an outdoor (weather permitting) supervised one-hour lunch break from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Ages 6 & 7 campers do not have a lunch option, as they are here half days only.
Refund/Transfer Policy
- If the Art Center cancels a camp week, the entire camp fee will be refunded.
- If the parent/guardian chooses to withdraw a student from a camp week: 75% of class fees refunded with at least 7 days notice prior to the start day of the camp. No refunds will be made after this time.
- Campers may transfer into a different week of camp at no additional cost provided space remains in the class to which the student wishes to transfer.
How Do I Register?
There are 3 simple ways to register:

- Phone: Call the Indianapolis Art Center at 317.255.2464 ext. 0 to register by phone.
- Walk in: Come to the Art Center and register in person at the Guest Services Desk.
