By volunteering you are not only helping us make Open House a success you’re helping to create a fun atmosphere for our guests! As a volunteer you will also receive an Open House “ART”-themed t-shirt (valued at $15)!

OneAmerica Broad Ripple Art Fair

It takes more than 400 volunteers for the OneAmerica Broad Ripple Art Fair to be successful. Benefits of volunteering include free admission to the Art Fair, a free t–shirt and several hours of fun and entertainment.

Gardener

Are you looking for an opportunity to share your talents and time?

Would you like to spend some time surrounded by 12 acres of beautiful landscape and art?

The Indianapolis Art Center is able to fulfill its mission through the generous support and time of our volunteers. We are currently looking for experienced gardeners to help maintain our ArtsPark and prepare it for the coming season.

Responsibilities:

    Planting
    Weeding
    General clean-up of the grounds

Requirements:

    Knowledge of plants and flowers and the ability to identify weeds versus intentional plantings
    Available to work weekdays
    Ability to stoop, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods
    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
    Willingness to work outside in extreme temperatures and inclement weather
    Desire to be surrounded by nature and art
